I recently toured and visited with Nicole and Joel at the Costa Mesa facility. What a beautiful center! I was most impressed with their holistic approach to treatment, pet friendly, and that they have smaller groups which is a huge benefit. Super impressive and would certainly send a loved one to see them.

True Recovery is a phenomenal recovery center, my life was in shambles when I arrived at True recovery. The staff is very caring and went above and beyond to meet my needs and the program is astounding as well. They definitely stay on top of your treatment and gave my life the structure I needed, to make a true recovery. I did their 90 day program and while in the program the staff did an awesome job at making sure I got to all my job interviews efficiently and made sure I got any medical attention I needed. Staff is very respectful and compassionate. They take clients on weekly outings. The living facilities are very comfortable and modern. True Recovery is definitely the best in Orange County

True Recovery is a phenomenal treatment facility. The staff is caring and goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure everyone is taken care of, comfortable, and has everything they could possibly need. Clients have the opportunity to regain their life in the most wonderful way. Making contacts in sobriety, enjoying fulfilling activities, tickets to the Orange County fair, amusement parks, enjoyable outings all over the Southern California area. Clients not only get the chance to get well physically and mentally, but they also learn how to live a fabulous life clean,and sober surrounded by positive influences. I highly recommend true recovery.

True Recovery is the hands down most amazing program I have been in, this place saved me from a very dark place in my life, they helped me live when I didn't want to anymore and love the life I live and love myself. I am forever grateful for every staff member, they have gone above and beyond in every way for me when I felt I didn't deserve it. They showed me I do have worth. They helped me get on my feet and become stable in every way possible, with finding a job and learning how to become a great parent. While in the grip of addiction I came across akua on FB. The people in admission were kind and inviting and helped me through the entire intake process. Upon arriving to detox I was met an extremely caring staff. They helped me to be as comfortable as possible throughout my detox. The programing at residential was amazing. The staff was supportive and encouraging and the personal growth I experienced through working with the clinical team was amazing. My overall experience with akua was spectacular. I grew so much during my time there and then provided me with the tools I needed to begin living a life in sobriety.

overall great experience. Started as soon as I got to detox, staff made me feel safe and helped me to get through a difficult time. After transitioning to residential and settling in I was able to begin opening up in groups and therapy. Staff was amazing and played a huge role in my success. IOP was structured in a way that helped me to begin building a new life. All in all AKUA is a safe place with staff that genuinly cares about helping clients to build new and full lives. Im not the same person I was when I arrived!

This place is amazing. I have been to a few treatment centers in the past but none compared with the experience I had with Akua. I struggled with addiction for 8 years, and in late 2016 I was yet again in need of help. Although, I was reluctant to check into yet another treatment facility. However, from the start this place made me completely comfortable. The staff (from detox all the way to the therapists) did an incredible job and really helped me throughout my entire time there. Id highly recommend this place to anyone who maybe looking for a great treatment center.

I am so glad that my higher power placed me in the presance of akua mind amd body. Before akua i had lost touch with who i was, not really knowing what tomorrow would bring. I was ashamed of who i was. Akua mind and body really helped me open up and heal. Akua is like a family to me. They have truely changed my life for the better. If you are going through akua. My suggestion to you is to open up and get as deep and uncomfortable as possible. Its not every day you get a golden opportunity to let your true colors shine :)

I'll begin by expressing that the staff I had interaction with went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable and cared for. Being from Boston, that was a big concern of mine, not adjusting to the new surroundings.The care and attention I received has contributed to who I am becoming and I will forever be grateful for the people I've met along the way. Akua also helped a great deal after I had completed my treatment by assisting me in a solid after care plan, providing me with a number of resources and contacts to aid me in the next step of my recovery. Akua has been a catalyst to a number of opportunities which has helped me establish myself here in California.
